DNS Record Lookup

Find the records that connect a domain to websites, email and other services.

Enter a hostname, not a web address. For SRV, include the service name, such as _sip._tcp.example.com.

Enter a value above to start. No account needed.

How this check works

Choose a record type or check the common records together. Each query asks a public DNS resolver for the exact hostname you enter.

What this check does not prove

Common records is not a complete inventory of a domain. Subdomains, DKIM selectors and service records need their own names. DNS replies can be cached; different resolvers may briefly return different answers.

Which record points to my website?

A records point to IPv4 addresses; AAAA records point to IPv6 addresses. A CNAME points one hostname to another, but does not redirect a web page.

What does no record found mean?

The queried name has no answer for that record type. It does not necessarily mean the domain is unregistered or the website is offline.
